1/8th Sportsman Truggy
1. Don Harwood
2. Matthew Hunt
3. Bob Summers
4. Rick Jenkins
5. Kerk Bloomgren
Note: This was an exciting race to watch, it seemed that Don Harwood was going to put an end to the race early on, but all 10 trucks that started, I believe that only 1 or 2 dropped out and there were battles going on at every corner of the track. The intensity lasted for the duration of the race, positions being swapped constantly and in the end Don came out on top. I have most of this race on video and should be up in a few days, great show guys.
1/8th Sportsman Buggy
1. Mike Buerger
2. Kenny May
3. Ross Brandt
4. Justin Moon
5. Dave D.
Note: As the day progressed, it looked as if Justin Moon was once again going to take the top spot, but as the day went on Mike Buerger was starting to get the track down and the car seemed to be getting better. The first minutes of the main event showed that Justin was going to cruise to a well deserved victory, but once again the car started giving him problems, not to far off was Mike getting ready to take over the top spot. Justin soon fell out of the race due to mechanical problems and that left the door wide open for Mike Buerger to take the victory, his first and biggest victory to date. Notable was Ross Brandt, again keeping it smooth and putting him on the podium for another consistent finish.
1/8th Expert Buggy
1. Mark A.
2. Shon Wilcox
3. Craig Clark
4. Joel Hernandez
5. Andrew Houser
Thanks to the Prairie City staff and crew for another great day of racing, and racing under the lights was a lot of fun, and relaxing. It was cool to see at the end of the sportsman Truggy race, everybody was so pumped up they were still shaking for more...
Video will be posted throughout the week.....
