Being able to sleep in for a bit, get up, get packed and head to the track to finish the last minute adjustments or just hang out and get ready to race under the lights, is something I was looking forward to. 

Racing started about 3 o'clock PM and as the sun finally set, the main events started and wow was it a show.  To some, racing under the lights took a little getting used to, but for the truggy sportsman main event, they just went to it.

Round #2 of the Challenger's Cup is in the books.  It was a hot day, but the racing was fast as ever and the turnout was good. Read More for the top five results in each class, and you can view a video from various races throughout the day.  More individual videos will be posted throughout the week. 

Over the weekend rescue opened the season with a Dirt-Oval show, the weather was kind of warm but the racing was relaxed and fun.  This year the rescue crew added a couple new features to the facility, and it's looking good.  Read More to see the video.  The videos of all the mains will be posted throughout the week.

Update 4/15/2008 - Schedule Change Has Been Posted.
This is a really neat race series, the tracks are not to far to travel to from Sacramento California and they all have a friendly atmosphere.  I ran some of this series last year, and had a lot of fun..  Read More for the complete schedule...

Speedworld is having a grand opening race on Sunday March 30th, this is their second points series race.  Speedworld has re-paved their surface and extended their track to accommodate the nitro racing scene.  If you never been to Speedworld it is a top notch facility, ran by some great people.  Read more for more info...
