Got them Thursday and ran them today. Got Tq and 2nd with the truggy, qualified 3rd and finished 2nd with the buggy. Should have done better but that's how it goes. The truck drives way different than the Jammin. I wanted a buggy and couldn't see buying parts for two different manufactures soooooooooooo. I had'nt driven a buggy in months and Randy Adams let me wheel his Saturday at the Werks race and I had a blast with it.
Carlos, Darryl, Dalton, and Dave D, your officially put on notice |

Right On Marty! Congratulations.
I know you will have better luck with the 8's. Less breakage. So what's the story? Where did you get them? Was the buggy a roller or a kit? Who did the paint?
So are you going to start running both class now? |

Thank's Carlos. I think they are stouter than the Jammin and breakage of small parts was an issue there. I got them at HC&M hobbies here in Sparks. The buggy was a kit, figured I needed one kit to know how things go together since the truggy is only available as a roller. A friend of mine did the paint, gave him the bodys Thursday night at 8:00pm and he left me a note saying he finished at 5:15am Sunday morning. This guy's work is awesome and he pretty much only paints for me.
Both classes???? HELL YA, what's the point of having two cars if your only going to run one?
I'll be running three classes whenever monster trucks are running. I have a killer MT2 that'll hang with brushless & lipo E-Revos. I picked up a used MT2 a fews months back and have been working on it in my spare time between racing and working. Sunday was the first time I got to put it on a track, WOW, talk about a blast!!
Here goes, I ran with the Monster truck class with a total of 12 cars in the class in two heats. Savages, Revos, E Revos, T maxxes, E-maxxex, and LST2's were the field. I qualified 2nd @ 12-5:08 behind an E-Revo with a Novak 4.5 and TWO Max Amps 8000Mah lipos, He got TQ with 12-5:02 but the MT2 was all over it like ugly on an Ape. I broke a ball stud 7 minutes into the main ending my day while running 2nd. That was the most fun I've had running in a while.
Now for my set-up, people just shake their heads in awe when they check it out.
OS CV-R .18
Jammin CRT 150cc fuel tank in stock location (no pit on a 15 minute main)
Losi 8ight front shocks all around and rear wing set up
Hitec HSMG59645 steering servo, stock throtle
1400 lipo Rx pack with Novak voltage regulator
Traxxas Jato 30 series Bowties
Associated NTC3 clutch and tuned pipe
HPI sway bar kit (mucho bueno)
Titinaum turnbuckles & hinge pins
3000 in the front diff & 1000 in the rear
aluminum shock towers, wheel hexes, front hubs, front & rear hub carriers, and spur protecter.
HPI 68 Camaro body, Hugger Orange & White
I picked up an OS Speedtuned .12 that will go in it next week althou it doesn't need it. Need to make some lower motor mounts. I'm also going to add a faster steering servo to keep up with the twitchy lil thing.

Sweet! Two classes is fun there's no sitting arround and very little time to work on your stuff. But it's cool. Just FYI; On the 8B kit shocks I've had trouble with the piston screw backing out of the shaft... Reason I couldn't finish one of the heats, and the main at the Werks race..I'm going to try Red Locktite. If I ever have to change the pistons I'll just have to buy new shock shafts but hopefully I won't have problems with them coming apart anymore. Are you going to try to hit any of the PC heads up races? |

I would love to make those races, unfortunatly I have to work on every one of them and think I've already burned all my vacation till November. My 10 year anniversary with the company and I'll get 42 more hours. Ya, I've seen a few Losi shocks come apart inside the shock body, Stenzel had it happen and I think James was a victom too. I used blue locktite and let them set overnight before assembly, but will keep an eye on them. |

| Yes I have had a shock come apart on the buggy. It would halp if I did some shock maint. from time to time and checked the screws when I had them apart. LOL. Its all good though, I'll be ready for the Harvest race for sure. |

It will be here today or tomorrow. I had to order some other parts from A-Main also Like Motor mount so I can use Ofna style clutch system, Air Cleaner set-up, Servo tray stiffener,
No I won't be at River Front this weekend since I already spent my next months allowance so I'll play at the Reno Track. |
