Not sure how many are checking out this site but it a looks a few are still here to maybe spread the word and see if the support is worth the build.

My name is Joel Hernandez and I built this site about 3 years ago, I know it's a little outdated but still it's here for use when or if I ever decide to get serious with it. The main reason I built it was to prove a point to myself and see what it could do for a community of racers. As far as I’m aware it did provide information that our hobby is alive and well, except for as lately.

Anyways, I'm thinking of opening a track in the El Dorado County areas that would race on a weekly basis and wanted to see what kind of support i would get to do so, which would help me make a decision.

I'd be willing to bet you'd get a fair number of guys from the Reno area if it was worth the drive to.

Sure miss going to that area to race. Always had fun. Just try you hardest to do it right the first time, make it the best it can be, and I would suspect that you'd get plenty of racers there. Right now there's not a lot of racing to be had for many that's close enough.

Do it up like the Nitro Pit and you'd have something for sure. LOL. Add in lights and have some night racing during the summer. Priceless.

The response has been ok, seemingly there have been a lot of viewers and not a lot of participants, but that is to be expected.

I've been scouting some areas that are secluded from neighbors and there are a few good places so far.

If anybody has some suggestions on areas within El Dorado County, feel free to chime in.

Use the old rescue location and deal with the county-regulations; if possible.
