This keeps the center of gravity down, allowing for some scale body roll but much quicker cornering.

The transmission in the 1/10 Strike SCT houses high-quality metal gears, full ball bearings and the adjustability of a slipper clutch with the strength and reliability that will stand up to the power and abuse expected of a short course truck for long lasting performance lap after lap. Mated with a powdered metal diff gear the drive line is ready for anything you can throw at it.
The overall handling and performance of the 1/10 Strike SCT are improved by a driveline, rear outdrives and suspension arms that utilize more toe-in. More toe-in at the rear gives the 1/10 Strike SCT more forward bite for increased traction and acceleration. The toe-in is supplied at the rear pivot block, not the hub, making the design stronger than what any other vehicle can offer.
Designed with short course racing in mind, the oversized captured ball ends eliminate the annoying ball cup "pop-offs" that can occur on all types of terrain and from occasional fender exchanges providing superior durability to the suspension and steering linkages.
The 1/10 Strike SCT gets its muscle from a 12T 550-sized modified motor for amazing acceleration and top end speeds for high-flying jumps. The motor houses an internal cooling fan that keeps the operating temperatures low improving performance and motor life longevity.
The 1/10 Strike SCT's great looks definitely grab people's attention with the fully decorated and detailed body that make it look just like the real thing, with eyecatching lines and a vibrant color scheme. The wheels with 12mm hexes are finished out in chrome to mimic the style of a full-scale off-road setup with the long-wear off-road tires providing ample traction on multiple surfaces.
