It seems that electric is making a bit of news lately in the Nor-Cal Region, with many tracks now available to us for racing in the electric scene; well, what are we going to need to run at these tracks?
For any of you track owners who organize the races, or those racers who are on top of your game with product knowledge, help us out with understanding what products we should be running, and what rules may apply when selecting our products to put into our race cars.
Here is a sample question that may help us get started;
For example, I would like to race 2wd electric buggy off-road, and I would like to run a modified class, but it looks that there really is no modified classes around that get good turnouts, so then what class can I run that allows the cars to go a little faster than stock? So then, what equipment do I need to run, and do any rules apply to these classes to stay legal for both local and ROAR regulations?
The reason I ask, is because a few more tracks seem to be putting electric races on their schedule, and turnouts are starting to grow equal with nitro. So diversity and growth is happening, and I would love to see the Nor-Cal Region grow and measure to compare with the likes of So-Cal and there love for the sport.
