I thought you said the layout was going to change for round two.” To keep things fresh.” It looks the same to me. |

Yesterday was a great day at delta. Turnout was awsome and there were some great battles. The first few minutes of the buggy ex amain was a pleasure to watch between phil and tyler.
I will say though I was there from 7am until almost 9pm. Thats 14 hrs. Is it just me or is that too long of a day? I was talking to craig about it last night and he did agree. What could we do to shorten it up so we could get out of there at atleast 6 or even 7. Could we start earlier with practice, or lessin our quals to 5 min? Or take less warm up laps before quals and mains? Or lust get the program started earlier than 10am? Just curious wat guys think on this. |

| I had a blast yesterday. A couple good quals and some great main races. I agree Philip and Tyler were lots of fun to watch that was very exciting. There was a little bit of cutting the track going on, I'm not mentioning any names, but that just has to stop. Some guys are just faster end off story. As for shortening it up 1 min off the quals will only save a max of 20-30 mins. I would say start racing at 9am and have 2 min warmup, no more and no more than 2-3 mins in between each heat. Yesterday we had 13 heats so thats 2 hours, 10 mins to go through the heats o-r 4 hours 20 mins total then the mains which is another 4+ hours, prob longer yesterday as there were C mains and a Monster truck class (which I personally enjoy watching) About the only area I see to mak it earlier is to make the quals 3 mins and cut them in half. Then you will cut 1 hour off the end of the day. So if we get started running quals by 9am and take 1/2 hour lunch I could see the day ending around 7pm but then again that accounts for no 'oops" and there are always unforeseen "oops" that will happen. Long day. Yes, but IMO it ran really smooth. All smiles here :) |

Yes a really fun day and all smiles here too, (bigger smiles if I would have beat you), but as for the race schedule, I like the thought of starting racing at 9am and shorter warm ups. Keep the quals the same. Anything to shave the time down a little bit. Dude 14 hrs is a long f****n day. And you guys that have a drive must get home pretty late. |

I to had a great day and yes it was a long one! But for me I do this for fun and friends and would not like to see be a big hurry up so we can go home thing. if I want to be told to rush and hurry up so we can go home I would go get a job! and that ant going to happen but yes a little faster pace would not hurt |

I actually thought the pace of the day went good as far as the racing, and I totally agree Cary of the fun and friends thing Fo SHO. I just cant get over the 14 hr thing. I raced MX all my life and the days were long but not this long. |

I completely agree the pace yesterday was perfect. I hate running like a mad man with my head cut off, like at TI. 14 hours is long, but the whole point is to enjoy the day. besides saving 1 hour by cutting the quals would make the 14 hours 13, big deal. DRC is running a clean consistent program. The bottom line is if it aint broke dont fix it.

From someone who didn't get to race but spent the whole day wrenching on my truck the pace seemed to flow just fine, as the DRC guys always put on a great race. I just wanted to thank all of ya'll who helped me try to get my stuff fixed and running...it's you guys that keep me coming back week after week! It was just one of those days that we all experience where everything weird that could happen DID happen. I expected some shake-down issues with my new D8T, but never expected to fry the bottom case of a Hitec servo. Man that stunk...had that smell on me forever! Frank, I especially want to thank you for your generosity and unending willingness to help...you always go the extra mile and it's a pleasure to race with you and have you as a friend!! I plan to beat your **s on 1/9, so look out...assuming I can make it more than 1 lap |

RD 2 Electric 12/26,
Big Thank you to Kevin Jelich, for the help on the track. The landings are perfect for the 1/10 cars now.
Gates open at 8am tomorrow.
Just a heads up we are also racing on Sunday Nitro and Elec 1/10 1/8.
The track is in prime condition should be incredibly fast lap times.
