Anyone know about the novarossi toro Nero 21 engine. Insight?

I'm buying a Toro in the next couple of weeks. Just waiting for my Amain Rewards points to cash in. I hear any 53 pipe is good. 7mm carb insert will get you 11.5 minutes of run time. Easy to tune. Ceramic Bearing. Turbo Head. Gobs of power. 7 ports with a long stroke gives it lots of top end. This is what I found out so far. I bought the Nova 4c and love it. No tuning issues whatsoever. I'm sold! |

| From what I have heard is the 9853 pipe is better than the 053 and the 9901 is the best pipe either way the 41021 smooth flow type manifold works well in this engine. |

| We started running the Nova's last season. The majority opion among everyone is that the Toro is the best engine!... Super smooth power, exceptional run times, and longevity. Matt has been running the same Toro in is buggy with over 9 gallons on.. just a front bearing swap and a clean up... and she's still running strong. The pipe of choice among the guys is the 9901SS with the 41021 header. Darren just bought one for his buggy and loves it... |

Yeah that's what I have...the 9853. Is there a difference between the 9853 and the 053. I thought they were all shaped the same. The 9901 is super smooth. I run the 53 and 021 combo on the +4. I tried them all (9901,9886,9853,41021,41020) and liked the 9853 and 41021 combo the best for the +4. Maybe your right about 9901 with the Toro since it is a smoother pipe. Do you think it might tame the power band a bit? I'll try it when I get the motor.

| Sounds like you guys had a blast in spite of all the hail. Wish I'd have been there, but other things came up. I plan to be there on the 6th though...I'm jonesing for some nitro racing!! I've been running the 053 and 41021 short header on my +4, and it works well. Planning to try to 9901 as soon as Carlos gets them in. I'm also getting a Werks b5 to play around with and compare to the nova. We'll see how it goes. |
